Family Circle Network

The Family Circle is a network of businesses geared towards young families. Founded in 2005, this group of women entrepreneurs, primarily mothers themselves, puts families first. This includes our own families, and the families of clients we serve. Though not restricted to the following, we are a group that is understanding and supportive of home businesses, work-at-home parents, self-employment, and business start-ups.

The Family Circle Network meets once a month from September to June in Abbotsford, BC, Canada. Monthly meetings offer a chance to share industry news, network with other businesses, share ideas and information, and learn from frequent guest speakers.

Members of this growing group receive many benefits beyond traditional networking including, but not limited to:

• Access to an online email group. This email group provides a forum to ask questions and share information with other group members between meetings.
• Business exposure through events that the Family Circle participates in.
• An opportunity to expand your client base by participating in the Family Circle blog. (www.familycirclenetwork.blogspot.com)
• Cross-promotion with other businesses through participation in the Family Circle Sack
• Reduced or group rates at tradeshows and industry events

Memberships are available at a yearly rate of $35, from September to January. Or you can purchase a half year membership for $17.50, if you are joining between February and June. If you choose not to purchase a membership you may still attend meetings for a $5 drop in fee.
